Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

This patch swaps Curtis and Yancy such that the male trainer encounters Curtis and the female trainer meets Yancy. This includes sprites, dialogue, and trades. A couple minor adjustments have been made to dialogue to make it more appropriate given the swap. To install: 1. Extract the files from this archive 2. Download xdelta UI from https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/598/ 3. Under Patch, click "Open..." and select Black.xdelta 4. Under Source File, select the source ROM 5. Give a location and name for the output file, ending in .nds Please do not upload this patch to any site. Known issue: The Dropped Item Xtransceiver palette has not been changed, as doing so would require separate patches for Curtis and Yancy. If something seems broken, please email: [email protected]
